The diode array was not causing the stalling. The diode array was causing the gauges to drop to 0, all the dash lights to come on, HVAC blower to dies, heated seats go off, turn signals, cruise, horn to all not work. The diodes supply power to all of the non-drive train modules. The dealer tech said the diodes were using a factory crimp connection and over time the connection had worked loose. He soldered the connection, so should not have that issue again.
The issue with the stalling was traced to incorrect spark plugs. The plugs I used did not have enough resistance (600ohms) and allowed the coils to overheat, which then caused them to backfeed to the PCM, and kick it offline. PCM offline = stalling. Dealer tech replaced the plugs with the OE (NKG?) plugs (14k ohms resistance) and the stalling issue is gone. After these 2 repairs and a new ground wire kit, new crank and cam sensors, the car runs like new.
Hope this helps!
