Just wondering if anyone here is or has used dynamat on there charger trunks and or doors to make the sound better? What did think of it and would you recommend it?

I did the whole floor from the firewall to the trunk with this and ensolite and sealed the doors by doing a few layers on the shell then replacing the water seal with sheet metal and deadening that too...cuts way down on road noise noticed an immediate difference...and keeps all the good sound in

How much did you end up needing?

Im pretty sure it was 2 rolls, 6 yards of ensolite and 3 cans of adhesive...i would highly recommend at least doing the doors if anything cuz that will cut down alot on road noise and strengthen your mids in the doors...if you are trying to eliminate the trunk rattle, its never going to go away lol i did a few layers and it helped a little but as long as it sounds good inside thats all i care about...

Yeah, I suppose its probably nearly impossible to cut down the trunk rattle. I have two 12" D9's so I doubt it at least. Like you said aslong as it sounds good inside im good.

Yea just throw some up there til you think its good...and if you havent already, take out your factory sub or cut out the sound deadener covering the hole if your car didnt come with one, that will help with airflow into your trunk

That was my first charger :) I sold that bad boy and haven't redone it to my current one.
When I had it done, it was nice but the rattling didnt stop. I dynamat'd the trunk lid, behind the rear bumper where it touches the frame, etc.
My current charger doesnt rattle...after I took it to the dealership for the trunk TSB.

What's the trunk TSB? Would you recommend me doing it?

The rubber seal around the trunk is a little thin causing it to rub some of the paint off the bumper when the trunk lid is closed. If you see paint rubbing off the top of the bumper where the trunk meets it...you can get it done.
The TSB calls for a whole new seal which is thicker. It takes a little more pressure to close the trunk but it seals it better and doesn't allow it to rattle.
I'd recommend it to anyone who can get it done free.
