When I make an outgoing call I hear the person saying hello but they can not

hear me. I can receive incoming calls without any problems. The problem with

the outgoing calls is happening more often. Anything I can do? Thanks.

I had trouble with mine at first, not like you are describing. Mine, I could hear the ringing, when the person answered it just went silent. I couldn't hear them, they couldn't hear me. Then, it wouldn't work right until I power cycled my phone. This was with a Pocket PC phone by Verizon.

I have since switched phones, and all the problems went away. Do you have a different phone you can try, to see if it's a phone/compatability issue?

Thanks for replying SD. I don't have another phone to try. The one I'm using

using LG Glimmer has worked fine till now. How do you power cycle a phone?

For mine, I could do a "soft reset" which "rebooted" the phone, since it was Windows Mobile. A phone without windows, just turn it off and turn it back on.

Good luck.

Is this a factory installed uConnect system? Does VR work? If VR isn't working you likely have a bad microphone.

In regards to rebooting your phone, your best bet is to remove the battery, count to 10, put it back in and turn the phone back on. This ensures that anything that is resident in the phones volatile memory that could have been causing connection issues is flushed out.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try in the morning. It's factory installed.
