Upper Valve Train tapping

Anyone else notice a slight tapping from the upper valve train? :confused: I'm currently running Mobil 5W20 Full Synthetic. 1400 miles on the engine.

AHHHH welcome to the wonderful world of the "HEMI TICK". that is a normal sound for the 5.7 liter, my truck has it since day 1 Feb 2003.......

Wheeeeeew, thank God. I kept thinking about a lifter that was in the kinks. As long as someone hears the same thing I'm hearing, I'll live with it. Thanks man.

I have been there since i got my truck, many things have been done to increase hp, surf around and register, poeple there are very friendly and many mods can be used in the charger except computer stuff.

the guy by the screen name of HEMI777 has ran his truck in the 12's in the quarter mile.

I went out and listened to my car this afternoon and have a sound that may be what you are describing, but based on my experience with other motors that I've owned, it sounded like the fuel injectors pulsating to me.
