After Market Radio Question

1st off let me start by saying. I have the 2007 2.7L V6. In a couple of days I'm going to ordering the Alpine Digital media receiver from Crutchfield. My question is, will I also need the Metra XSVI-6502 Chrysler Interface? I planned on buying this unit from BestBuy but Crutchfield seemed to have a better deal. Has anyone else tried this unit out? If so what are your opinions about?

I have this same unit, it works LOL Retains the power to the HU until you opened the door after you've turned the car off like the factory deck...
