what alarm to choose?

Hey everyone, i am new to alarms and i plan on buying one before i get another radio for my car..i got jacked last time and i dont plan on that happening again...what alarms can you guys recommend for the charger with and without remote start.. remote start isnt that important to me but would be cool to have. i appreciate any help!

I am getting this installed today. Viper 5701 Responder LE 2-Way Security and Remote Start System. I have heard nothing but great things about this alarm/remote start.

I have the CompuStar Pro P2WSSR and it's a great starter/alarm as well. It has the knock feature as well incase you want to leave your keys in the car or if you get locked out. You just tap in a 4 digit code you set and your alarm deactivates and the door unlocks. Good range as well.

I have the Viper 791xv and I love it. I wouldnt mind picking up the Viper 7900 though, that thing looks sweet

i'd say anything directed is good(viper,clifford,python, hornet etc). i have a clifford matrix hooked up to some airhorns + the factory horn. the basic directed alarms plus everything you can add on to them is gr8

look at the viper 5900 and 5901... an all around security package. im leaning towards the 5901 myself... i think our cars should like it// and for deals look on line i got my 5900 off ebay brand new for 199.. cant beat it.. gave the installer 100 bucks and my truck was good to go. i even got motion sensors in side the car..

i learned my lesson too i got jacked and redid my system and got a new alarm now a fly can set off the motion sensor.. feel sorry for the one who gets in the car.. cause he aint gettin out!!..
