Just wanted to throw a huge thanks to Mopar Super Center.

I sent them an e-mail regarding the fastners for installing the SRT-8 diffuser on my Daytona. They did not quote me a price, just gave me the correct part number for them to go to my local dealer. They said that they will sell me the clips if I want, but the local dealer should have them instock, and that the money I would save buying from them would end up being canceld out once I paid for shipping...

So, since they helped me out, I wanted to throw a thank you to them for helping me out even though I am not buying the part from them...

So Jeff and Ted, if you read this... Tell Joel he gets 5 stars for customer service... :D

Hey guys, just an FYI... I found out today that the SRT-8 and the R/T rear bumpers are different, and the SRT diffuser will not work on the R/T bumper...

Also, the SRT diffuser takes 4 of the plastic rivits, and 6 metal clips... (crawled under an Srt-8 today).

MPSC does rock, i just got my hood struts and auto-light switch today! BTW, my charger's fenders are not threaded, and the screws arent self-tapping, so i'll be visiting lowe's tomorrow for a tap and a tap handle. i will post what screw size they are, but yall probably already know it.

I did mine today also. The bolts went right in. There should be no need to tap. I just started them with my fingers and tighten with a wrench.

Interesting, and when we went to look up your clips, no listing for the rear SRT8 diffuser. We ended up pulling a accessory diffuser from the shelve to determine what it used to keep it on. Hmmmm, we are going to have to do more homework on this.

Many people have used a tap, and we even considered adding a tap to the kit. So many have installed without a tap, so we did one here with no tap. It can be done, and may seem like the thread is stripping, but in reality it seems to self tap as the stud is a hardened stud going into soft sheetmetal. So this is really a personal preference type of thing.

That headlight switch went in easy as pie and works flawlessly (auto headlight switch). Personally, I'd prefer to tap the hole first and do a good job then put the screw in. I'd rather not strip sheetmetal on a $36k car...persnal pref ;)

yep because you know that when they were installing these at the factory, there was a guy on the assembly line doing nothing but tapping those 2 holes... :D (just messin with ya)
