08/09 Antenna Conversion

So I noticed that the 09's don't have the gnarly rubber antenna's like the 08's do. I've already replaced mine with the stubby antenna. But, does anyone know how to replace the 08 antenna's with the 09?? :dunno:

Not sure you can without adding the front piece.
The 09 has another antenna on the front, the 08 has two antennas in the one unit

The Radio Antenna is in the rear Window isn't it (In the06,07 & 09's)? If that is the case, you would have to replace the rear glass.

it is not in the rear window of the 08, at least not on my SXT
it is the mast that is screwed into the huge base, the base is the satellite antenna.

The 09 went back to the lump style antenna on the rear of the roof and another lump on the front of the roof best I can tell.
Maybe an 09 owner can chime in

obviously the 09's have the satellite antenna on the roof and i believe the am/fm is on the rear window like the 07's

i did see one of those before on an srt at my dealer and it was on an 08, so that i really am not sure about... unless it's for that subscription you get with the dvd/mygig or something like that

my first mod to the charger was before i even left the dealership. i hardly ever listen to am or fm radio, and my se didnt come with satellite, so I unscrewed the marvin the martian antenna, before I even pulled off the lot.

nah I just have no antenna, i keep it in my glovebox just in case. like the other day i wanted to listen to an oldies station out of houston, so i just screwed it in, and took it out when i got home. i got satellite radio, and my zune for a reason.
