Well, that sounds good to me! Could be difficult though since it appears that we all live in different parts of the state, but I'm sure it's "doable".

As it turns out, "Tee" and I already know each other, and he immediately recognized the significance of my screen name.......we don't work together, but we do share the same "employer" and know a lot of the same people. Small state, huh? I even know a few folks in White Hall!

The day we bought our Charger R/T, trading cars was the last thing on my mind because I really wasn't ready to let go of my Marauder, even though it had become a "Garage Queen" and I was beginning to become concerned with a lot of apparent "idiosyncrasies" being reported by other Marauder owners.

Of course, the "clincher" for me was the test drive in the Charger. I liked the power of the 5.7 "Hemi" and my wife liked the "stone white" color with the moonroof and tinted windows. She always liked the Marauder too but didn't like the black color and all the "bling"........

BTW "Tee".........I got the "call" this past Friday. I'm turning in my "CVPI" tomorrow morning. It doesn't appear that I'll be able to "hold out" for a new Charger when they arrive. Maybe you'll have better luck!:nervous s

Hey "will"........yes, I do know both of them! As a matter of fact, we all went through "Trooper Recruit School" together way back when we all were first hired. I haven't seen either one of them more than a "handfull" of times since then........that's the way it usually works unless you get assigned to the same area.

What they told you about the "V-6 cars" is correct.......last year, FMC refused to sell us any Crown Vic Police Interceptors AFTER they were ordered so, we didn't have any choice but to purchase a fleet of 05' Chevrolet Impala "9C1's" (the Chargers/Magnums were not available yet at that time) to replace the units that needed replacing.

The initial problem with FMC has since been rectified, and we received our first group of 110 06' CVPI's just last week. Also, we're expecting the arrival of 40 Dodge Chargers any day now! Of the Chargers, 20 will have the 3.5 litre V-6's, and the other 20 will have the 5.7 "Hemi's"..........almost sounds like a "contest" developing, huh?

I think they opened it up for a few years in the 80's . do you know if there is a way to tell if someone post a reply to you other than looking @ every post?delphi forums has a good set up. they email you everytime you have a reply.

I got mine for EP: $39,456 for options I, II, and III. They just had this black one at the end of June and they wouldn't budge off the $43k MSRP. Or at least the salesman I was talking to said they wouldn't and he was interested in selling me that SRT10 Ram that's been sitting there for over a year I think. It's an 05 model and marked down from MSRP of $52k to $39k.

I contacted the e-business manager there through email and he said they would do EP on everything minus the Viper at the first of July. On July 3rd, I called and they had the silver just off the truck. By the time I got there it had sold - 2 hrs on the ground and it sold. I waited a couple of days and then went back and bought the black one.

You probably do... maybe not personally, or all that well. I used to work at the Oreilly's on 28th and Camden. The blue car runs alright ::wink:: It's got a little done to it, nothing big but it's enough from the factory to show most of the imports around here their "fart can" exhaust isn't enough go. Only thing that sucks about having an SRT4 is that I'm the only one in PB so nobody really knows what it is, and it doesn't exactly "blend in" with the other cars on the road. The Charger is the wife's car, so I'm hardly ever in it. I like it though, much better on the highway than the SRT4, suspension wise. I used to live over by Catalpa... but I'm hardly out that way anymore. I'll have to swing by sometime... get an estimate on some body work on the SRT4, nothing big, just needing some holes on the trunk (from the stock spoiler, which is removed) patched.

I'm in Stuttgart, about 30 minutes from Pine Bluff and an hour away from Little Rock. I usually go to both everyonce in awhile, so if ya'll see a black dodge chager R/T with 5% tint and loud ass pipes(straights, lol) its probably me. Anyone know of any speed shops or anything? I'm wanting to get some headers, but no one in my little town does that type of work.

Pine Bluff is only like 35 minutes away from me and its alot easier to get around in Pine Bluff than Little Rock(i've always lived in a small town, im 20 and got my license at 18, so interstates and the works are all new to me...plus I didnt get a navi :( )

I think they may have sold the sublime, they had it and the banana one sitting out front on display up until a few days ago. While on duty during night shift, I sat over there at the entrance staring at it. I think it is gone unless they moved it inside. I will check on this tomorrow.

They have a quite a few Chargers on their lot, and a crap load of 300s.

It's been a few weeks since I was there.The Sublime had a lot of bird poo on it but looked ok.Didn't care for the rim covers as many has said.
I did notice on the website they had the Bee stripped(no decals) but on the lot it had them.

I was just at Landers the other day... got rid of the SRT4, now have a brilliant black SRT8. I've got a lot going on in my life and it's one of my new found freedoms. The R/T is gone as well, since it's my soon to be X-wife's, I'll never see it again. Oh well... I'm happy with the trade I made.

I haven't seen the TB at Sherwood Auto Plaza. But you are right,at that price they will have it for a long time. Mine stickered for 35K and I got it for 30.5K new back in July.
