Nitrous Purge question....

This is more or less a question for my buddy, but I am kinda of curious too. He wanted to know if it was possible to get the same effect as a nitrous purge (smoke shooting up from undercar/hood) without an actual nitrous system. I told him no haha, but I actully dont know if im right, is it possible to rig something up liek that with out an actual n2o system?

Yes- you can rig up a CO2 system to look like it-
They use them to cool parts or intake- also referred to as a kryo system I believe.

you can do it with just the nitrous bottle, main line, purge solenoid and a switch. Pretty simple.

As the others have said, it can be done pretty easily .. :) But I think it would fall under the 'forum category' as upbadging in a way LOL. Purge and then nothing to back it up. hehe

Not necassarily. Guys with show cars set these systems up and use C02 instead of N2O. They have have colored LED's that luminate the purge cloud. Now, if you're cruisin' around the 'hood and keep purging and that's all you have? Poser.
