I have one of the first gen iTouchs, and I just had the glovebox integration unit installed on my 07 charger. My charger has the REF radio unit in it.
The iTouch boots up, and I get the "iPod connected" message, but that's all I get. The display on the radio with either read only CH 1, or Ch 6 through 196. I get no sound what so ever.
When the iTouch launchs, I start in the screen with all the tabs, with music, video and podcasts at the bottom. When I choose music, the screen will flicker and I'll get an ipod type silhouette, and there are no other controls on the screen. If I hit the "home" button, it will take me back to the previous screen.
I'm currently updating my iTouch to the most recent firmware.
Anyone have any idea what the problem might be. And if it's a problem with the iTouch, will any of the current generation of iPods at least work instead.
