This is not a new version of inverter just some simple changes to counteract some issues due to heat.
First of all the black resin used to pot our inverters now has an additive that lowers the emissivity of the resin. Since 60% of the gross weight of the inverter is in the resin having a resin with better thermal properties enables it to run as efficiently without overheating.
Secondly, there is now a small inline resistor in the power wire of the inverter. By regulating the input voltage we are greatly increasing the lifespan of the inverters. This also helps with overheating and decreases the chance of a surge shorting out the inverter.
Here is a simple test, we put a new inverter and an old one on the bench tester for 4 hours with a decent load on them. Several temperature readings were taken over the course of the test and the newer inverter stayed about 20% cooler at all times.

We have a variety of torture tests lined up before we go into full scale distribution of these but we estimate these will be avail for purchase (or exchange) early next week.
