I just recently got some AAC interior and exterior LEDs ... I love the new, super-white, lighting when opening a door ... makes the interior look awesome.


So far I got LEDs for the front map lights, rear courtesy lights, glove box light, front corner lenses and license plate light.

I also received some LEDs for my reverse lights, but they were almost useless to use to actually see, but I suspect most of the useless-ness was caused by the tint on my tail lights :)


I have on order (from somewhere else, as I didn't see the right LEDs on your aacstyle.com site) LEDs for the front visor-vanity lights, trunk light and underhood light.

I also ordered some super-white 921 bulbs for my reverse lights hoping that they'd help there :)

So these L.E.D's are only one chip? I would have just bought them but that seems like it would not be sufficient, and I'm not paying $45 for 4 L.E.D's when they're 6 dollars a piece on ebay.

If you can get a complete L.E.D. kit (reverse lights, license plate lights, all interior lights,) with more than 1 LED, I'd be game if the price was right.

Here is a single chip conversion (white) I did yeserday. It is brighter than the stock bubs. I feared the three chipped version would give me a sunburn. So far they are nice.

i would only recommend the 3chip, with 1 chip the only light you see is if you look at the actual light.
With the 3chip everything is lit up.

The 1 chip is the same blue as the 3 chip you see, just not as bright. I do not have a picture of a side-by-side.

Has anyone else experiences this? Emailed AAC, just waiting for a response. But other than that, a fairly inexpensive and great looking mod!:bigthumb:

Its residual voltage. There is still a tiny bit of power in the line after you close the door. The LEDs are VERY efficient so any power you give them (even a tiny bit) will make them slightly glow. Its not a problem with the LED, its just getting power and doing its job.

I would not suggest that, lol.

Its not that bad if the passenger hits the map light while you are driving because the LEDs are directional... that way you are not blinded.

I am not sure how you are getting $130. The Kit in 3 Chip is only $47.95 and the T10s are only $16.94.
