Well, I know its funny that the spare key went MIA not the primary i use, but im in a bit of a pickle. I was reading older threads and seeing what you guy said, and what I got out of it was you need two keys. So i have a few questions.

1) Do I really need 2 keys to program a third key? I thought it was the whole put blank key in ignition on run and with another key hold unlock for 5-10 seconds and then hold the panic untill u hear a chime.

2) I have 2 other blank keys. Unfortinetly one is a chrysler and the other is a Dodge. I mean the Chrysler looks exactly like mine with the exception of having Chrysler on it. and the Dodge one already has been cut but not what mine is. So can anything be done here?

3) Do or do you not know that The Bird is the word?

You must have the two keys your car came with, thats it.

My 08 was missing a key when I bought it.
The dealer ordered a replacement. only 1. I took the car there and in less than 10 minutes they gave me 2 keys (one was my original) that worked w/ the car.

They will need to essentially reprogram the original AND the replacement TOGETHER.
Then you are A-OK.

Does anyone have an answer to question 2?

Yes, nothing can be done with blank keys, of any kind, unless you have the dealership tool (Starscan) and you ave you cars PIN number. And if you have a key that was already used for a car, its useless, once the chip has been introduce to a car, thats it, that key is only for that car ever.

If it will fit the lock cylinder, should be.
