I am having some problems with the Halo inverter......for some reason the engen heat keeps on damaging it.....i have ordered 3kits for safety and i have used them all....first 1ligth goes out and then both burn....but the thing is that i am having a problem only on one side the right side only i tryed changing the place to mount it but no good....the one on the left is working fine...i think because its on the filter side...well that is what i think....i am not a American so i always have to order it and it take sometime to reach to me.....can anyone who have the same problem as me tell me what to do or any of your advise....what is the point of having the kit on if i am gona have to keep changing the inverter every 2 or 3 days... as soon as it overheat BOOM it closes....and please what is the "warranty for life" ..... am i gona keep getting a inverter every time mine stops working ?
can i change the inverter or can i mount it without it ?

you need the inverters. the halos will not work without them.
it is indeed the heat killing your inverters.
luckily i have not had a single inverter die on my car but i also have a 2foot by 2 foot hole in my hood from my shaker.
I suggest getting the extenstion wires AAC has and mount your inverters as low and as far away from the radiator as you can.
with the extentions you should be able to get them down need the fog lights. and the air coming in down there.
I got a theory that normal Chargers engine bays are so air tight that there is no air flow pattern in the engine bay. I have not had a problem but i have a shaker with the hole in the hood, Srts dont seem to fail as much as Normal chargers. where the srt has air flow down past the engine from the hood.
doesnt help you live in an oven too

where exactly are you mounting them??....i have each of the headlight inverters mounted on the back on the headlights and i have my halo inverter mounted on the back of the bumper brace. no problems with that set up.
