Quick question guys before I throw my lights somewhere!
I just installed my Halos. I checked them before becuase I didn't want to waste 3 hours only to find out one ring didn't work. Well, they all worked, so I went through and installed them.
Now, the one halo on the low beam light doesn't work. It works, briefly, then dies down. Basically if I turn them on, they'll all run full brightness....then the low beam light on the one side dims down and then stops working over a period of about 10 seconds. If I turn them off, wait a minute or so, it'll do it all over again.
Please tell me this is an inverter or something....I don't want to rip apart my headlights...again!

1990dtgl98, Try switching connections on that particular beam, if only the low beam dies out, try connecting it to the high or turn signal connection.
AAC...how do I go about getting a replacement warranty inverter for the low/highs. The low/high beam halos do not come on anymore, however my turns do. When connecting my spare inverter they worked.

Kstryker is correct, you can determine where the problem is by switching the inverter.
If you need a warranty replacement just send the inverter to us with a note and we will ship you a new one right away.

Thanks guys!
Anyways, I switched the plugs on one inverter, halo still didn't work. Then I swapped the inverters entirely. That made them all work. Swapped back to the original setup, and all worked.
Any reason or concern that one Halo wouldn't work for a few hours, then all of a sudden they all work without getting any new parts?
Just seems weird a halo wouldn't work 2 different ways, now works without actually changing anything.

i just bought some platin xenon blue lights from my friend and the lights
can't be the right ones. The bulbs are 9006 but are built in the 90 degree angle type. Are they worthless, I think I need the straight on bulbs only. Please help. Also, can I just switch out the old bulbs with these new ones. There are 100w and 10000K or will it melt the harnesses? Do you need a kit? Thanks.

seems as if the halos are a great product only bad things that I hear about are the inverters always going out..

It sounds like what happened is moisture may have penetrated into the connector. The power from the inverter is always going to go through the point of least resistance, the moisture can create a short in the line causing the ring to dim out.
All of our kits come with several pieces of heat shrink tubing that are meant to be put around the connector once everything is install and shrunk around it, preventing water from being able to get in. Junior also suggested using liquid electrical tape and claims very good results with that alternative.

these are so sweet, I say another few years and they will be ready for prime time.
Right now they are a great mod if you dont mind tearing things apart every time a bulb breaks or an inverter blows.
Sooner or later someone has to get all the bugs out and sell a dependable product.

I checked the website, and am going to assume the contact info is up to date, so I will be sending it to:
AAC Enterprises LLC
300 Jefferson Hwy.

How much for a spare inverter?...just in case something ever goes wrong, so I won't have to wait for a replacement.
