Just checking to see how many people would be interested in a complete SRT-8 Hood and Duct package. We are thinking we can do this package for 1295.00 plus shipping. Please let us know if you would like to see this happen.

Ok, the details on this group buy purchase. When we look at doing group buys, we try to see how low we can go with just 1, then we look to see if we can save any more by ordering in mass quantity. This however is not on any type of promotions, so we can only do this by using stock order discounts. So what we are doing with this, no minimun order quantity, cannot save any more on this. For $1295.00, you will receive the factory SRT8 hood, all the parts for the duct work on the SRT8. This will be the same price for 1 - thousands of orders. We do not have this on the web site yet, but will have shortly. We will use the stock order discounts to reduce the price to $1295.00, but that means the hoods will have to be ordered. With multiple orders, we will look at all possible outlets to save on shipping, as this does not include the shipping charges in the price.

Until Mopar raises the prices, could be this Wed, might be the following month, or even 6 months, not sure when they change the pricing. For the most part, we could keep this price for a very long time as long as our costs remain the same. If they go up, then the price will go up, and vise-versa!

Most price changes are done on the 1st of the month, I do not anticipate this changing, but then again, I lost my crystal ball. lol
Unfortunately, Mopar does change pricing, sometimes up on some items, or down on some items. Usually sheetmetal stays pretty consistant in pricing, unless there is a part number change, supplier change, or something like that.

This is still in effect at the same pricing. It is available for ordering directly from our web site. If you do place an order, you will be contacted with an accurate shipping quote before your order is processed. Based on some rates we have seen so far, shipping could be as high as $195.00 within the continental US.

Sorry, but due to shipping damages, freight carrier refuses to ship these without them being crated. So with the additional charges of crating, and the increased weight, these are now $1395.00. Rest assured though, these should arrive in perfect condition now, just look at the crate these now come in.

That is what this hood is. The SuperBee uses the SRT-8 Charger hood, just different paint and graphics.

Duh! :embarrese I must have had a blonde moment, or maybe it was just late. Guess I was thinking of it coming already painted and with graphics (since it is only available in one color).
Thanks.

Do you work with anyone who could paint this thing to factory standards. I would be interested in a GoMango one painted and with the hemi decal that is on the hood of the Super Bee.

Due to shipping we we ship the hoods un painted. We do however offer the Hemi decals.

We have the price marked down as low as we can. The hood package is already priced at the group buy pricing. We would love to offer these for even less, however Mopar does not offer any promotional orders for this item. Without the promotional orders, we do not receive any discounts. Those discounts are what we use to lower the price for group buys. Where many dealers absorb these discounts as additional profits, we extend the discount to our customers for group buys and sales.
Now, when we were first asked about doing a group buy on the hood package many months back, we decided to just offer it at the losest possible price we could, far below what we would normally sell it for. MSRP on the complete package is $2075.00, minus the $1400.00 and the shipping fees, we still save our customers at least $400.00 not to mention taxes.
So, to round this up, we are sorry, but this is the lowest we can go on this product unless Mopar ever offers up a promotional order. Unlike the Performance parts, we do not have the bargaining power with OEM replacement parts. Without that, I cannot go to the table and ask them to create a promotional order. We wish we could offer this lower, and would welcome a group buy if we could.
Thank you for the interest!
Jeff
