Guinea Jubilee Car Show - September 27, 2008

I'd like to invite everyone out to this show. It is a great time...with tons going on throughout the day. As a member of MPMA, I'll be working the show...and I hope to see a number of LXs come out!

All Makes, All Models and All Years Welcomed To Annual Guinea Jubilee Gloucester Car Show. Last year's show was such a great success that we are improving Parking and Judging for this year's show. Activities Car Show, Seafood Festival, Crafts, Parade, Kids Rides, Games and Fireworks. Top 50 awards for Hot Rods, Street Rods, Muscle Cars, Street Machines, Antiques, Originals, Pro-Streets, 4x4's, Mini Trucks, Full Size Trucks and Motorcycles! The Jubilee must have gotten pretty big since I left Gloucester in 2000. Alot of my friends from high school were from Guinea and had fathers that were watermen..

I might make it down that way. All depends on work.

If you can, try to come down on the Tuesday prior to the show. Or, better yet, take the week off and come down on the 20th.

Anyone thinking about coming out to this show? Zoomzoom1 is coming into town for the show, so he and I will be there. Hopefully, KK will be able to come out as well.

Due to the rain, zoomzoom1 wasn't able to make it down.

As far as I know, the show is still on. The rain is supposed to stop Saturday morning (hopefully early), and it should be nice the rest of the day.

I will see what happens. If anything I will be at my parents house in Gloucester early morning. Suppose to finish up some work in the house from putting a opening/bar kinda think in their house between the kitchen and living room.

Will only be about 5 miles aways from it, but depends on how the finishing touches go and my time of leaving.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies tomorrow with a few showers and storms. Highs low 80s. South 10 mph.

MPMA...the club hosting the show...is still expecting (hoping) that the show will go on. If I hear anything definite, I'll let everyone know.

I'm about to head out the door now to head up to the show. I hope you can make it down. Unfortunately, Ralphie-boy wasn't able to make it down.

Sorry I didn't make I was down there and had every intention of going. BUT... the wife didn't get out of the bed till 9am, wasn't ready to leave till alittle after 10am and by the time she was ready and the boy it was almost 11am. I finished up the trim work at my parents by 2:45pm and looked online at your first post. Said awards were to be given out at 3pm..

I was up and outside a few minutes after 6am cleaning my car. Just had to wait for the rest of the family to get motivated.
