Arrington Motors does all kinds of custom fabrication work. They are currently working on 2 different LX products that will both appear in 2 different major national magazines. One will be going to Germany, and if you are in to car testing, you will know where it is going to be tested!!

We may need some additional certification LX vehicles so if you are interested, please respond.

Not only will all be given a tour of the shop and what they make there, we will also be performing a free Pedders 28 point inspection to all those that wish to have it. There has been lots of talk about radius rod bushes, rear xmember bushes, bump steer issues, excess and premature tire wear and noise concerns. Let me show you how to inspect your radius rods easily. Most dealerships miss them because they are sometimes challenging to see.

We will also be offering !0% Pedders Day parts and labor discounts. Also, when parts are installed that are a direct sale from this event, you will be given a Lifetime Pedders Parts warranty. The warranty goes to the original owner at install. We do not care if you race it or not. We will, however, not cover damage from impact or an accident. Pretty simple!

I'd love to go, but it's about a 5 hour drive each way....

I made the big flight from SFO to Martinsville on Monday and arrived at Arrington Engines on Tuesday morning. This was my first visit there. I knew they made performance engines, but had absolutely no idea how big they were. Turns out they are the engine developer/tester for Chrysler. They have a huge and complete development and research departments, and are building cutting edge motors. They are the supplier of motors for all Chrysler NASCAR vehicles. There test and develpment departments are off the charts!. I had the 50 cent tour that took almost 2 hours because I was so interested in what they did and how they did it. I have spent a bunch of times with the guys who take a raw cast cylinder head, and turn it into a NASCAR approved head that is as perfect a design as NASCAR will allow. Watching one of 7 of their machines making combustion chambers, porting intake and exhaust ports, making indiviual rocker mounts, and indistructable valve seats, is beyond interesting, it is fascinating.

Watching their machines manufacture the most sophistcated Chyrsler throttle body out of a solid piece of aluminum is really cool.

We completed the first of 2 SRT 8 Chargers today. this one is get a to die for motor that will be off the charts hp, run on E085 fuel, and will be tested in Germany by a major magazine.

Buddy Arrington with his son Joey, built and drove NASCAR Chryslers for years. they are both very active in Arrington Engines to this day.

In the pictures below, you can see their custom motors, and rack of motors waiting for Talledaga, Indy, Daytona, etc. Each motor is made specifically for a race track.
