Ok so when I have my stereo on with my subs, the trunk and bumper rattle pretty bad. How do I get it to stop? Its pretty embarassing. I have a 2008 Dodge Charger with 2 12 in Audiobaun subs.

I have the same problem so I bought some dynamat xtreme. Its one of the best things to use but its also very expensive.

Two bad things about dynamat:
1) Costs a ton.
2) Weighs a ton.

One good thing about dynamat:
1) It's awesome at stopping vibration!

I have to agree with that. I bought the bulk pack and when the guy handed it to me I was like Holy Sh*t

I was gonna take it in to Best Buy and have them do it for me. I've never messed with this stuff before, so how hard is it to do it myself?

face the subs into the car and seal (or stuff) the sides of the box so "no" air can move between the cabin and trunk. This eliminated all the rattling inside (parcel shelf) and out (trunk lid and bumper) of my car.

Its just peel and stick. You might need a roller to smoothen it out evenly.

My charger rattled so much, my trunk would vibrate open! The emergency realse would vibrate open. Then my exhaust would vibrate, the bumper, the trunk, and my camera in the trunk lock. I dynamated the whole trunk myself. You need, a rollor, a heat gun, a knife/ scissors, and patients!!
Hope these pix will help for now. Still gotta do more on the trunk...

Or if you have a home depot by you. Go to the roofing gutter section and look for peel and seal. Get the silver as it sticks better I have 3 rools of it for my trunk. Its a lot cheaper then dynamat. Then go to the autoparts store and grab a can of cheap break cleaner and use that to clean the metal.
