JL Audio - Stealth Box (subwoofer)

Currently, JL Audio does not offer a stealth box for the charger. I contacted them today and mentioned our forum and this thread. Please post showing your interest in a JL Audio Stealth Box for the Charger.

I dont think they can make one for the 13w7 since it is huge but for anyone else with JL subs this would be something to consider.

I've had really good experiences with JL Audio in the past. Is that box all plastic, like the OEM one? I hate the sound quality of the stock system! Here's hoping their's is a lot better! :rocker:

I had one in an Explorer that was hidden behind a grille and it rocked. I'm pretty sure it was fiberglass.. really heavy and bolted to the sheetmetal from under the car. Very solid and great sounding.

I would love to get one as long as it's not ridiculously priced like some of the other boxes I've seen that fit in the corners of the trunk.

Most people that have a charger would love one! One of the best things about a charger is the trunk space, there boxes dont take up room and the part about it is the fact that it is JL. It would be a smart move.

sorry to thread jack guys. I could not agree more on the JL Audio stuff. We have a killer bass setup in the BT Charger. check out the control panel we just did for a member in Japan on the sister 300C site.

I'd be interested in one or two it would be cool if they could make it fit in where the factory kicker one is but even cooler if they would make one like that for both sides of the trunk.

We aren’t currently planning a Stealthbox for the Charger but, I’ll monitor your thread and, pass this along to our planning committee. If there is enough interest, it could be a candidate, we haven’t evaluated the charger yet.

a stealth box is a fitted box that will more then likely be something built around your rear wheel area. The sound and bass that comes from Jl boxes is better then anything you've heard my friend has a small 10 in a jl stealth box in his f-150 it sounds amazing.

I dont think it would work because most people have large speakers. That need a some what of a deep hole. And you would still end up losing some of you trunk space.

You really dont understand the engineering that goes into there boxes they can make a small 10 hit harder then 2 12's. I know they cost more money but IMO its the best quality off the shelf stuff you can buy.

This isn't going to happen. This thread started in August of last year and I just checked JL's website and they don't have one for the charger, but they already have one out for the challenger. I'd be surprised if one came out. I would love one though...

If they can fit alteast a 12 W3 or W6 in there on each side im in no doubt. I really would like a chance at some hard hitting bass with one of those boxes. Not just a W0.

I would absolutely love a set of these, as long as they are reasonably priced and doesn't interfere with a rear strut brace in the trunk. I've been wanting to make a set just like this since I got my charger in 06 but haven't gotten around to it. Make it!!!
