What are my options for listening to MP3s on a non MyGig system? I have an 07 Daytona with the Nav radio, but not the Video system. Other than burning MP3s to CD or using an FM modulator what options do I have? Is there a way to hook the output from an MP3 directly into the radio? I don't need controls, I just want to get the audio without using a modulator. I'd be willing to go against all I believe in and get an iPod if it would help with this.

I don't have a NAV unit, but on the basic '07 CD player, there is a 1/8 inch stereo Line-in. You can use any kind of MP3 player, and basically have a cord that goes from the Headphone jack of the player to the Line-in.
Radio Shack sells cables that go from 1/8 to 1/8 for about $8. -Make sure its Stereo and not Mono.
I use a 8GB Creative ZEN. Sounds GREAT! Note: If anyone buys one of these, you need to connect it to your PC & update the Firmware from their website ASAP. Out of the box, it was a little buggy. After updating, it was very cool.
Like I said, I don't know if you have a Line-in port, but this has helped me divert serious cash from a stereo need, to feed my mod cravings. Good Luck!

Unfortunately, unless it's very well hidden, the Nav unit does not appear to have a line-in jack. Lame.

They also have multiple models of the basic radio (REF). One has the inputs, the other doesn't. Now that is stupid!
Yet all of our center console have cable slits under the lid that is perfect for concealing an ipod/mp3 device that is sending a message to the radio. Now that is stupid!

Maybe I am not hip to technology, but I love having access to 6 Disc of Mp3s. I raped the track listings from the previous "Now! Thats music" discs to help create close to 200 hit songs from the raidio in recent months.
I also have mad Mp3 disc that contain the complete discography of my favorite rappers (i.e., fabolous, ludacris, joe buddens, and more). I love that it can read Mp3s.

No NAV model has the input that you are referring to.
