Hey, I'm looking into upgrading my head unit in my 2007 Charger SE Plus. I have the basic SE soundsystem which pretty much sucks. I do have the Sirius radio factory installed though. I recently upgraded all my stock speakers to Pioneer 3-ways. I would like to upgrade the head unit as well, but an install tech at Best Buy told me a few things I'm not too sure on. He said I wouldn't be able to upgrade the head unit and keep my same Sirius receiver and antenna, even with a satellite ready deck. He said due to the nature of the stock systems they are incompatible with the aftermarket stuff. Replacing my sirius receiver and antenna will get more expensive, and I hate to install another antenna when I already have one. Is he just talking out of his ass to try and sell me more crap, or is he right? If so, are there any adapters I can use to make it work? Thanks in advance for any help.

I would think you could adapt to the ant. Have to search around.

You will need a new reciever, the other works on the cars network.

The reciever should be located in trunk on drivers side just rear of the wheel well.
