I believe that there is a place on Aberdeen...just down from 664...that repairs rims. I'm not sure if they rechrome them or not. I wish I could remember their name. If I remember correctly, they are across from the McDonald's and the new 7-11.

I just had my rims repaired not to long ago. Used the guys below. Rep was fabulous. They weren't chrome, but I asked the guy how much it would cost if they were. He said might as well buy new ones as it costs about the same. Doesn't hurt to look, though.
You can try these guys (they come to your house!) if they are in your area. I'm not sure where Hampton Roads is (or if it's even in Virgina), but they have locations all over the US.

Try looking for a chrome wheel exchange company online.
Here's one that not only has an exchange, but also fixes rims: http://www.wheelworkz.com/index.htm

you cant rechrome some thing that is chromed already. it has to be striped down to the base metal and than chromed again. unless your restoring a piece that is unfindable or can't be replaced your screwed!!! buy a new wheel or wheels. it will cost a arm and leg to rechrome wheel. unless you really like them and want to shell out 800 or 900 to recrome a set of wheel. bumber on my 70 hurst old's 442 w30 back in 2002 cost me $350 to strip and rechrome

What kind of wheels are you talking about?. If they are the chrome-clad ones that I've seen on several vehicles than forget it. That's just a plastic chrome piece over the wheel itself. No sense in rechroming that.
