I have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Carlisle, PA for the 2009 All-Chrysler Nationals (July 10-12, 2009).
Here are the specifics:
- The group rate is $159.00 per night (normal rate is $189.00).
- Right now, there are 10 rooms blocked off. If more are needed, they will add more...as long as there are rooms available.
- Reservations MUST BE MADE BY 6/9/09
- The rooms are reserved for check-in on Thursday (7/9/09), and check-out on Sunday (7/12/09). If you need the room a day ealier or later, just contact the hotel and they will extend the group rate for you.
- The rooms are non-smoking, double queen rooms. If you prefer a smoking room, you can request one.
- Cancelations can be made up to 48 hours prior to arrival with no penalty
- Hotel ammenities include: complimentary hot breakfast buffet, indoor heated pool, onsite fitness facility, and complimentary in room wireless internet connection.
If you already have reservations at the Hampton Inn, you can call and have your reservation switched over to the group rate. If the rate that you have is less than the group rate, you can still be added to the group...and you will keep your current rate. Reservations (i.e., those with rates lower than the group rate) that are already made and are switched over to the HRME group won't take away from the number of blocked rooms...they will instead be added to the total.
To make reservations, call the hotel at 717-240-0200...and make sure to tell them that you are with the Hampton Roads Mopar Enthusiasts (HRME) group. If you already have reservations and want to move them over the the HRME group...or if you have any problems...ask for Chris Schlosser, Director of Sales, and she will help you out.
There should also be a direct link soon that can be used to make reservations under the HRME group...but I haven't gotten it yet. I'll post it when I get it.
