Well I got it done, OMG, I got it done. 8 hours later....
Started this morning and took my time, got her on jacks, took off the tires, peeled back the wheel well covering, got the facad off....in no time at all thanks to some very helpful people around this site. :rocker:
I baked the headlights at 210 for 12 minutes and they came apart sooooo much more easier than the tail lights. Installed the halos, expoxed them in, broke two more....:bncry: and soooo I just went with two lights in the headlights....I know doesn't look quite the same but oh'well, didnt' want to order two more and have to put the thing back to gether just to take it apart again....maybe someday. ;)
Baked them again, sealed them up, let them dry....used some black RTV silicone to fill in the gaps and reinstalled. Installed the inverters and ran the wiring...which took most of the time. Used a switch in the ****pit and ran all the wires there. Made sure she worked....check...and put everything back together again! :driving:
Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, next time will be easier. When I have to put my replacement halos back into the headlights. :domotwak:
Pics will be coming when it gets a bit darker....
