In line Flicker Free Capacitors (Plug and Play)
If you have a HID kit with a flicker problem simply plug these in line between the HID ballast and 9006 plug and it will eliminate the problem.

Out of curiosity could you make these with the correct bulb fitting for an OEM charger HID housing? Would you also need to change the fitting for the ballast side or is that fitting universal?
I'm determined to figure out a way to get OEM HID housings to work on older Chargers. Yes I know it's a really expensive route to take but all the aftermarket projector housings look ghey.

Depends what that fitting is, a customer of our was going to let us wire his swapped in 08 housings but come to find out they cant even fit in the non-hid vehicles.

Really?!
That's strange, because I've read of at least one instance where an owner swapped in the HIDs into his non HID vehicle but couldn't get them to work so he yanked them.
Looks like I'm not gonna be the guinea pig on this venture.

Aw man, the wiring is the easy part! If someone can get them to fit we can come up with a PNP adapter I am sure!

I've got the AACStyle 10000k headlights and I had a flicker problem. I put the capacitor on my relay and no more flicker.

talked to Dan today at aac. He explained that these inline caps will not work with my OEM lights. I wonder why...
so much for an easy fix

I wonder why these capacitors (that would make a very neat and clean installation) are NOT automatically included in the HID kits ?
Especially the 50w kits, oroginally advertised as a true plug-and-play kit, but which flicker like crazy on these cars unless the capacitor is added on onto the relay.
For $200++, the kits should include everything we need.
We, as the customer, should not have to waste our time to install a possibly unnecessary harness, if these inline capacitors would fix the problem and allow us to use the easier plug-and-play installation ...

For the Chargers I still suggest the (quick and easy) capacitor on the relay. These are very nice looking but they are not cheap.

I am talking to Dan at AAC. I bought the relay and it did not work on my OEM unit. I am hoping its just a defective relay or wiring problem. I am sending it back to get a replacement.
on that note, you are right, it is a nice looking product. I just hope I can get it working with the OEM units.
