Hi. I stumbled across this forum off google, and thought I'd give it a try. My fiance' and I are getting married in late March in Boerne, TX. I'd love to surprise him with a '69 charger as the drive-away car, but am having trouble finding one to rent or borrow. Anyone have any clues to where I might find one? Please e-mail me privately with info, as I may forget to check back here often enough.

Thanks.

A. No one rents a car that old.
B. No private owner with a car in decent shape would loan it out. If they lived in the area and had the time and NO decorations were to be put on it, they might drive you someplace else to switch to your car.

One possiblity is see if there's a company in your area that rents classics/exotics/specialty cars for advertising, film, tv, commericals etc. In NY, there's a place like that in Staten Island that people with classics have their cars placed in a database. When a film shoot comes up that requires cars of a certain time period (50's, 60's etc) or a specific car type, that company contacts the people with the cars needed. They pay the owners for use of the car for the day and are fully insured. If there's a company similar to that around you, you can check with them to see if anyone has a '69 Charger as an available car for rent and maybe work out something. Shot in the dark, but ya never know! :headbang:
