I will staying in the Navy, re-enlisting for those 75G's early next year which will be 10G's down on a new Charger and 10 on a house, I will be staying in the VA area and we will be trying to get a little SB running around soon. I guess I was off the grid for a while. And no I wasn't back in jail, lol. but thanks for the faith.

Today was quite the day. I hit 2 car shows...one from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (placed third in Mopar Class - Cars and Trucks), and the second one from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Langley AFB (didn't place).

I met a couple of Charger owners at the Langley show...one black SRT-8 and one Super Bee. I also got to finally meet USCGCharger and his lovely bride. [USCGCharger...Dude...you really out-kicked your coverage there :D ]

Forget the WaWa...Do this...

Take 664 to 64W and take the Magruder exit. If I remember correctly, after the 5th light, Magruder's name changes over to Hampton Highway. At the 8th light (I believe), there will be a Dairy Queen on your right (right off of Hampton Highway). I can meet you there at 3:00.

So basically, once you take the Magruder exit off of 64W, you don't turn off until you get to DQ.

The cruise-in is held each Saturday night at the New Town Shopping Center in Williamsburg. Again, a minimum $2 donation is asked of people to park their cars. Different clubs "host" the cruise-in each week...i.e., they set-up, collect donations, clean up, etc. The money raised goes to CHKD...for the weeks that I (HRME) hosts the cruise-in, the money raised is split between CHKD and St. Judes.

For directions to New Town, check out www.newtownwilliamsburg.com. The cruise-in is held behind the store Justice. The area is also patrolled regularly by the police, so hopefully there won't be the same issues that resulted in the closing down of BPS.

It's actually pretty nice. Last week, the turnout wasn't that great (only 20-30 cars), but I think that the weather and the fact that it was the tax-free shopping day had something to do with that.
