No, but the satin black looks like your trim on your windows and the regular is black gel coat that will need painted.

We only paint Satin (trim) Black. If you want any other color, you will have to have that done yourself.

is it not offered in a flat black?

check out the 4th pic down of the red car, that is what our painted finish looks like. "Trim black" or "satin black" or "Matte Black" is also what most people consider automotive flat black. It is semi flat and they pretty much all look the same. A completely flat black would not look right, I've tried it, and it ends up looking like a primer finish. Once again, if you want anything else other than our satin Black, you will have to get that done yourself. The spoiler comes in a black gel coat finish that should be sanded and painted to get a nice automotive finish.

I bought one from Mo on the previous group buy and was very pleased with the quality, craftsmanship, quick shipping and excellent packaging. I had mine color matched painted Black Crystal Pearl at a local body shop for $130. I was going to do the install myself but chickened out and went back to the same body shop and had it installed for $60. I get compliments everywhere I go and it does finish the front end. Here is my transformed nose including black cross hair.

It is easy to install, there are tons of people on here who have done it themselves with no problems. It comes with all the hardware you need plus instructions. It does help to have a helper hold it up for you while you tape it in place.

Oops, This spoiler is too large to go to an APO in Germany unless I cut it in half and you glass it back together, I can even glass a flange in the back to make it easy to do.

Painted and installed my chin spoiler from this group buy yesterday. The install went easy, and the gasket Mo sends with it makes for a very clean looking install. I installed mine myself but I strongly recommend having a helper to hold up the other end. If not its just a pain. Mine lined up perfect and really makes a strong statement for the front of our cars. If you're on the fence about this mod don't be it is very high up on my favorite mods to date.

I have a very good friend that is a painter so I had him spray it for me that way he could bake it in the booth afterwards. If you were to do it yourself you would probably end up with as much in buying the materials as you would just paying to have it sprayed. If I had to guess you should be able to find a shop to paint it for under $100 maybe even $50.

Brent I would guess you would be safe expecting $100- $150 to paint and install. I had a friend paint mine and I installed it so Im just giving an educated guess. The install was simple just have a friend there to hold the other end up.

Yay! Got mine back from the body shop (took a while, but nice job and the price was right - $75 for the spoiler and some mirror caps with turn signals - I'll get to those in a couple of weeks)

So installed, colour matched, looks sweet! Helped me pull a prize at a car show next day - awesome!

check out the 4th pic down of the red car, that is what our painted finish looks like. "Trim black" or "satin black" or "Matte Black" is also what most people consider automotive flat black. It is semi flat and they pretty much all look the same. A completely flat black would not look right, I've tried it, and it ends up looking like a primer finish. Once again, if you want anything else other than our satin Black, you will have to get that done yourself. The spoiler comes in a black gel coat finish that should be sanded and painted to get a nice automotive finish.
