So I've been contacting local 5-star dealers about ordering a yellow Daytona R/T. So far I'm less than impressed with their knowledge about *their* product and the general demeanor in which I've been handled.
I'm not expecting the dealers to kiss my a__, but they could be a little nicer considering I"m considering spending $35K at their store.
So I thought I'd put a request out to the forum:
Where is the best place to buy my Charger in MD? Why?
Thanks.

BCP Smyrna in Delaware is the best dealer I have found. Newark Dodge, also in Delaware is great for service and an excellent body shop but the sales manager and finance manager are worth avoiding completely, I would never buy another car there. Advantage Dodge in MD is great for used vehicles, not sure about new and service is a little shaky.
I bought my Charger R/T (first one in Delaware) in early May from BCP-Smyrna with awesome customer service and a no nonsense deal.

www.neworderdodge.com ask for Tom
I went to Waldorf Dodge, I was generally happy with the service etc. If you want to talk to someone there, I have my sales agents cell phone number...my parents are considering buying a magnum through him, so hes pretty friendly :santa:

My guys down here have told me all ordered cars do not get any markup. Park Dodge down in Lexington Park, zip 20634, and it's about an hour south of DC. NOw they do mark the hell out of dealer stock cars. Like 5K on the GOMango DAytona on the lot.
Talk to Lou, he's a sales manager, tell him Bill K the SRT-8 guy told you to call:) Let me know what happens.

If you are in the Tri-State area I would suggest that you go to D'Ambrosio's Dodge. They are located in Downington PA 19335. I ordered a 2006 charger RT today and I got a deal after shopping around for three weeks. Silver steel R/T, sirrius radio, navigation,Road?track package, sound groupII, electronics convience. list price of$34,450. I got $1000. under invoice,$500.rebate for a total of $30,851. My saleman was Eddie Torres. Anyone else in the Delaware area. Hope this helps!!

**** Greenfield Dodge in Lawrenceville, NJ
Excellent sales people. I personally have not been to the service department yet, but my father loves the dealership. He is on his second Durango from them, and my Charger makes the 3rd in the family.
Here's what I know about the service department: They're open 24 hours a day, no appointment needed.

Seems like Woodbridge in general...I used to live in Dale City and I love Ford's, but would NEVER by from Cowles again! Got my Charger at Rick Hunt in Warrenton...great bunch of guys...good 'ol boys if you will.

Like I said in my last post above...I got mine at Rick Hunt in Warrenton, VA. If you can make it down this way....these guys are totally awesome. I usually despise going to dealerships, but these guys took care of me, I got $1500 off my RT (R&T pack) with zero money down and they financed my negative equity too. This was cool, becuase that was the only RT with the R&T pack on the lot...they could have told be to get bent with no money down...
Again...great dealership...

This is a great post. I might consider Waldorf Dodge. But has anyone dealt with FITZMALL (www.fitzmall.com) in Maryland?

I had some folks at work go to fitzmall and rated it pretty good. I bought my R/T from Leesburg Chrysler in July and they cut me a deal on par with what Fitzmall advertised on their website.

Leesburg Chrysler is now Pohanka as of 11/1/05. Try Brown's Dulles Dodge in Chantilly.

Waldorf told me Friday that they wanted 5K over for the red SRT-8 they have.

Looks like Dulles Dodge or Fitzmall will be seeing me next month. I'm in the process of trying to get my fiance to learn to drive stick in my SRT-4 - but she hates it. So we're considering looking into trading it in. We just know there'll be times when she'll have to drive my car from time to time so I'm looking into an automatic transmission - yes the Charger R/T, or possibly a Magnum R/T. If this happens, I will miss my SRT-4, definitely the most fun I've had in a car. I can't afford two car notes though. Wish me luck.

don't know how far you want to go but this is the place I got my SXT. Sales was straightforward, no attitudes. I have no information on the service. Here's the link>>>> http://www.fivestardealers.com/werners/Dodge/website?adid=u&pid=u&bid=&rid=u
