Thanks for the info. I've been looking for this for a while, now. I hope to be able to make it out there next Saturday.

Haven't been to one of the air shows in probably 10 years. If I'm out & about and they're flying, I will stop and look, but I don't even think about going. I guess 'cause I live in the flight path, and hear/see them plenty. But then again, I'm born & raised here, so I've been to plenty. They were actually a lot of fun when I was a kid (a long, long, long time ago).

I know the Thunderbirds were there last yr, I don't see them on the list of planes to be there this yr though.

I would like to see the Blue Angles one day though...

Last yr was the first time I had been in 20 yrs, it was the wifes first time to ever see the planes.. I made sure to bring ear plugs, and she wondered why.. The F-22 doing a flyby just a few feet off the deck directly in front of us certainly made her appreciate the plugs.

I'm heading out on Saturday with the missus, the little one, and my father-in-law (unless he has to work). Who else...other that KK...is going?

Long time no hear, amigo. What, you move and now you're too good for us?

I didn't figure you'd make it any way...I thought that you'd either be sick or have duty. :D

p.s. Tell the missus CONGRATS on the new job.

I stopped on base after work for something--totally forgot about the air show--just wondered why they weren't checking IDs. Then I saw the cars. Then I heard the planes. Then it was fun trying to get off base.

My daughter has expressed interest in going tomorrow. *sigh* She may end up going with someone else. I'm just not "thrilled" by the air show.

I got stuck in traffic for almost an hour sitting just before the first light past the gates. Don't know why, must have had a problem with someone. I know alot of people were turning around and parking in the areas around the buildings. But I park whereever the guy with the bigger gun than me tells me to.

Had a good time, my 3 yr old loved it. He was ready to go before the Red Arrows took to the air.. Still not as good as last yrs show..

My father-in-law wanted to go, but he had to work most of the day on Saturday. So, we waited for him. By the time he was able to get off of work and come over, the air show was over...so we didn't get to go. :(
