So this wiring eliminates the parking lights?

If you follow this diagram it does eliminate your parking lights. You can also T-tap into the parking light if you want to keep them.

it eliminates the side MARKER light not the parking lights per say if you do as in the photo.
but if you use a t tap as tiff says you keep them all

I see - too bad there arent much in the way of wiring instructions included. That is the first time I have see that. I always wondered what the Charger specific wiring was. Now I know

no not if you want the halos hooked to the parking lights,

Oh...well that would of helped before I did the install.
I'll leave it as is for now. Very helpful for future reference.
I would therefore assume that it would work that way in any car.

Is there any consideration for weatherproofing and strain relief?
This seems extremely haphazard to me.
