What is your car cleaning ritual?

If you live in the Pacific Northwest like me, you know it is tough maintaining your car especially due to the rain, the pollen and the bugs.

I was wondering if any of you had tips on how you maintain your car on a daily basis.

I always love keeping my Charger in showroom condition so I have to wash it almost every other day. There are no short cuts.

I use Meguiars products and have been quite happy with their result.

I was curious to know if there are any obsessive compulsive people who spend some time daily trying to maintain their car.

Hahaha maybe me...I always wash my Charger everyday because Im working in a desert sands here in Dubai, don't know hot to maintain this car anymore and I become addicted on cleaning it everyday once I saw a lot of small tiny particles dust on my winshiels everywhere...Think I got an OCD! dude!

Right there with ya. Though the Midwest has its own set of environmental problems. F'ing BUGS!!! I have a box full of Meguiar's from wash to paint cleaner, wax and quick detailers. I love em. Two California dusters. (Gotta have separate ones for inside and out doncha know.) Don't bother with the Meguiar's bug & tar though, imo. Clay bar bad bug residue off. Best method I've found. Meguiar's clay bar, of course. :D

I do the "CAR WASH" song and dance, helps the dust come off easier, and makes the wax job look better!
