06 Charger steering wheel audio upgrade/install

Hello I have a 06 Charger SXT model. I wanted to know if you can remove the top current blank steering wheel covers to add the buttons to control the radio. I have installed the NAV radio and would now like to install the audio steering wheel controls. So please can someone tell me if it's wired underneath those blank covers for the audio controls and if anyone had added these controls. Thanks in advance for you advice/help. I did asked the dealer and I was told that there is no wiring underneath those covers for the audio control; guess I just trying to verify.

Maybe it's wired, maybe not. In my case there was no wiring. I have now buttons but they won't do anything. As far as I've heard it's relatively difficult to get those buttons working especially without wiring ready.

Anyway, if someone needs button, I have unused ones for sale. I also have front shock covers if someone doesn't have those. Oh yes, and R/T stock cat back.
