What's a fair price to pay for a detailing?
It consists of
Hand wash vehicle
Remove tar & road film
Clean & dress tires & rims
Clean fender wells
Clean windows in & out
Clean & protect dash
Vacuum interior
Professional application of carnauba wax
and when they quote you a price, do I include a tip afterwards?

I typically pay 25 for hand wash 100 for a detail 200 for the works. I try to get our cars professionally washed once every other week detailed once or twice in the summer I get the works in the spring. The works polishes every thing treats the interior. Sounds like alot but its not my cars look better than new. and yes I tip An extra 5 on the wash to the guys doing the work and 20 on the detail But I get great service and try to keep it that way. You really get what you pay for

For the professional detailing service in town, its about $170 for the complete detail. The price does not include tip. I'd like to take my Daytona for a professional detail, but I'm so worried that the decals may inadvertantly come off while they're clean it.
