Step into the factory and smell the aroma of chocolate, apricot, cinnamon or pineapple, whatever is being cooked up that day. During the 40-minute walking tour, Jelly Belly guides will show us a real working factory where they cook up over 150 different sweet treats. Learn the secrets to how they create the legendary Jelly Belly bean, and discover why it takes more than a week to make a single bean. See taffy, chocolates, and wild gummi critters in the making, too.
Back in the Visitor Center after the tour, more good times await visitors. Taste for yourself any of our candies and Jelly Belly beans at the Sampling Bar. An exhibition candy kitchen makes hand-dipped chocolates and seasonal sweets, all within view of visitors.

Don't know of many places just off of 680 nearby that aren't super clogged. Could just drive over to you in Castro.
Or we could meet in Dublin. Just thought of it, sorry. There's a Tower Records across the street from the Stoneridge Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge dealership. The address is 6694 Amador Plaza Rd, Dublin, CA. Its right by an on-ramp for 680 N, north of the 580/680 hairiness.

Put me down for me + 2..
I did the tour a year ago and it was pretty cool. It takes about 30-40 mins to go through, and then you get a free sample of Jelly Bellys at the end, and you exit into the gift shop, where more than likely you'll drop another $20 within a few seconds.. :D
Also, did we ever decide what to do about lunch? There will be lots of hungry people when the tour is over. My suggestions would be to find a Nations or something nearby, or else find a park do a BBQ if the weather is decent. The way it has been lately (several days upper 70s), we may be in luck.. :)

Sweet! See ya then, XXL. Um, John and Terri. LOL. Sorry, the transition between online and real life still trips me up. I'll make introductions when we meet. I'm sure you'll know Scarlett when you see her.
As for food, yeah, I'm up for Nations or BBQ. :) :) :)

Sorry everybody about not posting here for a while. It's been crazy the last week or so for me! We should definately get lunch somewhere afterwards. I know there was a couple of places mentioned. No sweat. I'm jealous of how much more customizable the RTs are. I know I could modify mine, but it feels weird in light of how much I'm already paying for her and how rare-ish she is. I figure if I had an RT, I'd be comfortable making her more unique. Anyway, bottom line, mutual admiration here.

Next time I vote for San Jose area, Monterey area, SF area, or perhaps Castro Valley area...
We should also plan on having a Nor*Cal BBQ on Mount Diablo sometime in the summer.. There's a sweet picnic area about 3/4 of the way up, which has a huuge parking lot where we can all park together and get some awesome aerial shots overlooking the valleys.. :D

Wednesday nights are ET bracket racing and its usually like 15 dollars to race and 8 to watch. Grudge nights are usually on Saturday nights but its more money. Not sure how much but test and tune nights are usually about 50 dollars or so. It would be fun for one of those nights though! Well have to see if we can get that going.

Can we please do a meet on a Saturday? Some of us have to work on Sundays!!
Thanks to XXL Hemi and his better half for putting on this ride. The wife and I had a great time meeting new people and talking mods. The photos were good but I think there must have been something wrong with the camera. The pictures made me look old.
We are diffinetly ready for the next ride. Looking forward to seeing all of you again.

I know this is the place for all of us Charger owners to meet new people and all but you should also check out Wild Style website and forums for the locals. I try to post stuff here as much as possible but I do run the club so I am always busy keeping the forums and site going. John is on here all the time so he fill me in too. For more meets/ cruises etc please come over to Wild Style and register and post ideas for cruises meets and all and I will more than be happy to set up as much as possible. I am always looking for motivated people to help me out as well. We have a pancake breakfast I just posted today for this Sunday if anyone is game? We can cruise afterwards too as well. Check out the Forums and see the thread here! (http://wildstyle.conforums.com/index.cgi?board=upcoming&action=display&num=1140644271)

My first intial, wifes first intial and intial of our last name. Kinda boring. I should change it I suppose. We use redht68 for our camaro. I'll come up with something better for use on this forum. Once again it was a great M&G and the people were great.
