factory alarm vs. mopar add on alarm

i was wondering if the factory alarm is the same as the mopar after market option. the mopar alarm i saw at the mopar supercenter website has a few features i want. should my alarm have the same features?

From what I understand, yes it's the exact same.

are u talking about the Mopar EVS1 Security system vs the basic security system that comes on all LX's ? if so then no its not the same. the evs1 has tilt and shock sensor and it also disables the ignition. if someone bumpers the car then the alarm goes off, if someone opens the door with out disarming it then it goes off. the basic setup all charger come with does not have this function, you can shake the car and nothing happens, you can use a screw driver to burst open the door and nothing happens, you can break the glass and unlock the doors and nothing happens . there are some LX's that came with a evs1 type system from the factory.
