I just bought this after seeing it in the store and remembering a post by Flex. I was just wondering if anyone has used it on there rims? I have stock 18" R/T rims and don't want to mess them up. I bought it to use on my exhaust tips and would like to try it on the rims.
Thanks

I've used it on my 20" chrome-clads twice. They look brand new. :)
As for the stock aluminum 18's, I'm not sure...maybe someone can chime in.
But I did use it on a stainless steel kettle and my stainless steel BBQ utensils and they all look brand new as well, so I'd say go for it. :D

Thanks, I'm getting ready to do the tips now. Guess I'll wait on the rims.

I can't believe how clean they got. This stuff is great, thanks Flex.
Anyone got info about the rims?

I'm curious about this as well...my rims are swirl-marked to death and I'd love to get them as shiny and smooth as possible.....
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Hmm, I used Eagle One Never Dull on my tips and for some reason they come out with spider webbing scratches all over. Not sure if the tips were already like that, or it was the wadding that did that. So I'm a bit hesistant to say use it on the wheels.

I used it on my 20" chrome clad wheels and they came out perfectly :)

this stuff works "ok" but it simply doesn't compare to the turtle wax chrome polish. I bought some of this stuff b/c of some of the posts here and really wasn't impressed at all. Yeah it does work but again not like the Turtle wax chrome liquid polish that i've used for many years.
The first thing I noticed is that I had to really go around the rim of my exhaust tips pretty heavy to get some of the black off....it took a few wipes...with the turtle wax chrome polish you put that liquid on, let it sit a minute then wipe off and with virtually no elbow grease dirt, debris, stains..whatever, are gone and your chrome is shining like new.
And like Supreme said, the wadding is somewhat abrasive, I definitely wouldn't use it on rims..the turtle wax chrome polish with a microfiber cloth will kick this products ass any day of the week.
I'll use the rest of this never dull stuff but won't be buying it again.

I heard never to use chrome polish on the fake plastic chrome clad wheels it eats into the plasti-chrome and pitts it then your rims look like a$$.... Don't know about aluminum but there are other metal polishs out there besides chrome polish...

The factory rims are clear coated so I'm not sure if that would ruin the coating. Try it on the back of the rim or a real small dab in a corner if you must. I have had a can of that since probably 1995 and it's still good. I have never used it on paint or clear coat though. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

This is probably too late, but DON'T use Never Dull on clear coated wheels. Soap and elbow grease and wax is all they should need. Maybe some paint polish if you are seeing swirls or scuffs. Never Dull is great on exhaust tips and polished aluminum after market wheels. But stock Charger wheels are clear coated, and Never Dull will eat through the clear coat eventually, just like it would if you used it on the paint, which I know you would never do!
