Our new "XE" kits are 30% brighter than any 35w HID kit on the market. Still made with high-quality ORACLE digital ballasts and bulbs, these kits operate at a higher, yet still safe, wattage.

Pricing for forum members will be about $60 additional for the XE option ($229 for 35w or $289 for 50w) which is still going to be about $100 off our website price.

The BEST part about this is that since it is 50w the vehicle's system accepts it and does not flicker on any of the LXs we tested it on so far! Making this kit 100% PLUG AND PLAY. Literally remove the old bulb, insert the new one, plug in the ballast and thats it. We did an installation in just over 5 min yesterday with this new kit from the time the customer pulled in the bay until we turned on the lights.

With this increased light output many nonbelivers are going to say "well this is going to glare and blind other drivers" this is just not the case because the bulbs maintain accurate geometry and do not glare in any of the testing we have done.

What color temp range are these in, do they give off any blue tinge? You mention no probs with any you've tested so far, how many have you tested? You say no glare, and non-blinding. Every car I've ever owned w/HID's has PO'd many drivers. How bright are these compared to an OEM HID light kit?

50W kits only come in 6000K to optimize light output. They will not be offered in anything but 6000K.

Hey justin..
i dont have your cell and i know the office closed for gustov

i hope you can read the net when away.

I just installed the HIDs on that plum car today.
50w hid kit

They flicker bad when engine running.
engine off they look good.

engine on flicker/strobe effect.

We grabbed the harness when engine running and strobe effect slows or stops.

both lights do it.
so i dont think its a bum ballast or lights.

only thing i can think of is bum harness or weak crimps somewhere on the harness.
all the plugs are tight.

any ideas when you get on?

Considering I just bought a 50w set, I certainly didn't wanna read something like that ^^^^^^

GABE i just received mine yesterday and attempted to install today... 1st thing is dodge/chrysler out to get rid of that krap 9006 and go to h7! not only is the output better due to a bigger bulb, but taking out and in is done with a spring not a twist. twisting a bulb in an extremely tight area is not what you want to do to make changing a bulb easier.
now on to the install. the diagram from oracle for p and p is incorrect. it shows the two wires coming from the bulb to the ballast which cant be mistaken for anything else, (excuse my terminology) and then shows and tells the wire from the car to the ballast. that leaves 2 plugs from the bulb unused and unexplained in the diagram! I called aac and the tech had to think a minute :biggrinjester:and said that was correct that i didnt need them... then we got disconnected.. actually it was the opposite! :bigthumb:those two male and female connectors plug into the car harness, and the other into the ballast. i confirmed this by looking at anothers members install which was correct. (thanks member! I'll post links later) when i redid it, no lights!! all other lights are fine but no HID. now i'm going back at 10PM at night to install the wiring harness which will leave the male and female plugs unused. aac is closed for the weekend. i write procedures for a living and theirs left a lot to be desired. they will hear from me loud and clear especially if the harness doesnt work! I'll post later after i try the harness. btw the interior leds i ordered worked fine; they even sent 3 chip for the maplights when i ordered and paid for 1 chip! maybe that was compensation for the HIDs! lol:D

Ron, when you install the 50w ballasts without the harness there is polarity to it. If they do not come on you need to remove the connector that goes into the ballast from the car, rotate it 180 degrees and plug back in. Again if them do not come on then the polarity is reversed, if it is plugged in backwards then you are correct it will not work.

If you choose to use the relay harness with the 50w kits you need to add do the resistor mod like here: https://01f17e6.netsolstores.com/productimages/flickerfix.pdf

So we were told that the 50w kits were true plug and play, that they wouldn't flicker, and now that they're selling, we have to mod the kit to get it to work as advertised ?

1. Using dynoxg's photls from hidtoday.com the plug from the light goes into the ballast, and the oem plug goes into the bulb. your instructions say the same thing you are saying so that is confusing. If using p&p if you plug the oem plug from the car into the ballast there would be an unused plug coming from the plug. I assume the other drawing is correct for plug and play. it is a photo and much easier to use.. as i said with your instructions you need to put the number of the install on the drawing like that one is.

2. If reversing is needed shouldnt you have said so in the first place!! its a pita to keep removing the air cleaner housing to get to the driver side ballast and i dont want to kink the hose.

3. I definitely dont have time to mod the harness. thats what i paid you to do! especially on a harness that was supposed to solve this problem. that makes your harness no better then the old harnesses... also since the ballast is 50 w, is the bulb 35w or 50w? SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY!!

see F and G here. that is what i followed with plug and play and it still didnt work. your drawing states the OEM harness from the car goes into the ballast which would leave F and G unconnected. using the harness F and G are unused. if i am incorrect please let us know; otherwise your drawing for plug and play is confusing and incorrect...

The passenger side 9006 socket will be used to activate the relay switch of the HID
harness to turn on your lights, but you will need to add a capacitor to that relay to
fix the Wattage difference, (or you can use the marker lights wire to activate the
switch and turn on your low beams, but you will lose the stock switch function of
having marker lights on only). from above referenced PDF..
Again, your harness was supposed to solve that problem. we paid the extra money and now we have to modify the kit. not good and i dont have the time!! make sure you answer the question re: the bulbs, 35w or 50w...

I still dont know whats so different between the 50w kits and the 35w kits other then the wattage the ballasts produce...........on my 35w kit, using the relay harness provided, i didnt add any capacitors or anything and hooked it up in 5 min

same thing i have many flicker and i dont know if i install it without relay is there any problem or i cant try it ?!

i will try today without the relay so i will see if its will fix the flicker if its danger plz till me

and till i find the capacitor i will give it try to because the flicking one ballasts color changed its like 5000K not 6000K

so can i change it with any ballasts or i must order it from you ?!!!
