Well I've had it painted for several weeks now and finally got to work. It has 2 molded studs that have aluminum clamps (left circle) for the bottom mount and 6 screws (right circle) that need holes drilled for upper securing. Had to remove the belly pan which is always a joy.

And now for the painful part, don't look if you are plastic squeemish.

Weapon of choice, Dewalt rotary with a drywall cutter, oh the pain.

Have to cut out the 2 uprights, ooooooooooooch!

Final trimming to get them flat.

From here the install is straight forward. Drill 6 holes through the predrilled grille insert for the upper mounts, add screws, and clamps for the bottom.

Just the look I was intending. The single upright matches the upper crosshairs better than the 2 OEM uprights. Just wish I could have modified it to accept some honeycomb donated by FreebirdSRT.

I'll get a better pic during the day. Garage is dark and not to well lit for phone pics.

looks great, I can't wait to install mine. What kind of black paint is that glossy or satin?

It is acrylic lacquer, gloss black and clear.

Thanks for the positive comment.

Add you some matching honeycomb if you want. Here is a picture of mine with the honeycomb. I need to adjust my lower grille a little, oops. I didn't get it in too straight, but it was too hot that day to straighten it up.

Agreed, looks very sharp, especially with the high gloss finishes on both. Well done.
