We can have a burnout section of every Charger known to man except yours because you don't know how. Or a burnout for dummies section.

And don't forget the "take pictures of someone else's burnout and claim it as my own" picture section. :D

Virginia Tint Law Enacted: 1999
HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN VIRGINIA?
Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Virginia, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window.
Windshield
Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
Front Side Windows
Must allow more than 50% of light in.
Back Side Windows
Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Rear Window
Must allow more than 35% of light in.
HOW REFLECTIVE CAN THE TINT BE IN VIRGINIA?
Similar to sunglass lenses, some tinting film contain metallic elements that help in reflecting incoming light and reducing the glare and heat generated by visible light.
Front Side Windows
Must not be more than 20% reflective.
Back Side Windows
Must not be more than 20% reflective.
OTHER VIRGINIA RULES AND REGULATIONS
Restricted Colors
The tint color(s) of RED AMBER YELLOW are not legal by state law.
Side Mirrors
Dual side mirrors are required if back window is tinted.

Yeah, I see cars every day with VA plates and wonder how they get away with it. I got it as dark as I could "legally" get it, and I see cars every day with tint WAY darker than mine.

I had an 01 intrepid with 35/20 and passed inspection every time

You can push the limit with the tint...but when/if you find that one cop or one state inspector who's a stickler for the law, off it'll have to come (and you may get a nice ticket to go along with it :D ).
I also found out...straight from the VSP...that even cars that are registered in other states and driven in VA (i.e., 99% of the military members here) cannot legally have tint darker than is allowed by VA law.
I watched a 4X4 truck w/mirror tint on all his windows pull up to a light next to a State Trooper. When the light changed for the Trooper, he just sat there and waited for the trucks light to change...then he nailed him.

I still have my lisence damnit!!!!! And with a sunroof, open up the roof and let the light shine in when driving around, but when you want it to be dark, close it up and let the good times roll ;)

Yeah I drove JBlaz's and had it sliding sideways a few times and then left a lot of smoke coming off the speed bump in my area.

Yeah its pretty sweet, me and JBlaz switched cars and drove home from the last dyno day... It was after his Diablo, big difference, I also really like the sound of my car while driving, I always wondered what it sounded like.

This sucks, my salesman from Greenbrier Dodge isn't there anymore. Was looking to see about trading in my 07 SXT for an 08 with a sunroof and leather.

This is not something that is an issue with inspection anymore. The tint can/will be checked if/when you get pulled over by a cop.
I have had my last 4 cars done with 35% on all the sides and 20% on the back window. I see cars all the time darker, but I am not going to push it any further than 35% on the sides. It helps if you have the darker interior also. I know that I have the rain guards and that seems to make it look just a tad darker.

I love my 20 all around and the LEO that got me a few months back told me that he had a meter in his car but since I was a nice guy and once he pulled me over I dropped my windows to show I am no threat, he said that he would look the other way. I have 35/20 on my Civic and I like it but it isn't my baby, the Charger has to be perfect. I also have 20 on the front of the Jeep and 20 over top of stock on the rear window, now that is dark as crap!!!

35/20 is a good combo for heat/sun. plus makes it look sharp. I have 0 tint now, not even factory
you recommend TNT?
