Dyno Day #2 @ DTP - Saturday, May 24th

Would you be willing, and interested, in participating in a Dyno Day at DTP on Saturday, May 24th. FYI...that is Memorial Day weekend. I've checked with Frank, and he is good for that date.

Unfortunately, this time of year, all weekends are pretty busy. Remember, we're not working around our schedules, but Brent and Frank's schedules, too. If they aren't available on a certain weekend, then there definitely won't be a Dyno Day on that date.

If there are too many people who can't make it on Memorial Day weekend, then the next time will, most likely, be in August. Would that be better for people?

I wanted to come to the first one but other things came up. I really want to come to one of these. The only thing that will hold me back is if I dont get all of the mods done in time that are in the planning stage. I want to get exhaust and intake on before I try to get a custom tune...

I may do that. Right now, the 3 dates would be May 24th, June 7th, or sometime in August...probably either the 9th or 16th, depending on Frank and Brent's schedule.

Personally, I would like to do it in May. Since I installed my headers, I have a lean condition CEL, so I want to get my car tuned ASAP...so that's my purely selfish reason for my vote for the May date. :D

I got lucky, he either only comes to the ship on duty days or drives another car, cuz I searched during the week and it wasn't there, maybe this weekend, Sunday duty some breadcrumbs and a boot may come. I even approached him last week on the road asking him where he got it and he was stumped "UHHH my uhh buddy ummm found it I think".

That seems to be something you're getting quite good at doing.

Option #3 for food...

There is a Relay for Life group that worked the HRME show last year, and will be back this year, that could do the cookout for us. They also sell drinks and snacks. I've put in a call to see if they are available that day. Would everyone be willing to do something like that...buy your food to support Relay for Life?

They do sell the Predator. Give them a call and see what they charge...just be advised that they don't sell the cable or power supply.

status report..... :DWell I finally got her out on the deck last night.....talked all about her week then slowly brought the car hobbie out, she knows I've been missing the last 3 to 4 weekends because of my consulting business but I have purposely taken off the next 2 months...anyway she's game to let me go but we talked about its memorial day weekend and how she wants to do something with the kids.....we may get my parents beach house that weekend in Jersey but won't know till next week, so I'm there with tentative status, I will say Wed of next week I'll know for sure. Heck I may bring the fam down there and hook them up at the beach down there....I'll keep ya posted.........let me know if this tentative status is OK......
