VES compatible with Nav? Please Help

Hello everyone, planning to purchase the REC 6disc Nav in my 06 charger replacing the 6disc cd player and had some questions:

1. If i play a dvd on my VES can i watch it on my Nav (is there a video aux input?)
2. Does my VES display show the same things as the Nav display(maps etc.)
3. Is it worth buying the stock Nav or just buy an aftermarket deck and modules.

As far as I'm aware:

1. No
2. No
3. That personal preference, I personally like my stock Nav.

1.Yes, but you have to do some work on the nav in order to do it. There is a write about on this forum if you do a search you should be able to find it. Some say it is not worth it cause you could mess up your Nav unit.

3.Stock Nav is ok I have one but I am going to get an aftermarket unit when I can gather up enough funds, aftermarket is alwalys going to be better than stock.
