Okay so I ordered the HALO kit from AAC 3 weeks ago and I after the first week I emailed them asking about my product. They then notify me that my item was back ordered for only a few days. Well it's been 3 weeks now and still nothing. At first, I didn't mind. They can't help that this item is back ordered, right? Well I decided to visit the site so could track how my order was going and accidentally clicked on the item link which brought to the item listing....which was NOT listed as unavailable or back ordered. This led me to assume they could have been back ordered even before I ordered my kit and they're just taking people's money and wasting their time with NO notification AT ALL. They didn't even tell me my item was back ordered until I emailed them. This isn't how you do business, at least not in my book. This is the email I sent them a few minutes ago:

Okay. It's been long enough. I am surprised that it has come to this since you guys came highly recommended from chargerforums.com. I am surprised in the lack of updates, even if it would be to tell me they still aren't on the horizon. I am also surprised that you still list the item in question as available on your online store despite them being heavily back ordered. I can only assume that were already back ordered when I ordered mine and you failed to notify me at all prior to purchase. I would like a generous discount, or failing that, a complete refund immediately. I am sorry, but almost 3 weeks when I was told 2-3 days is ridiculous. Thank you for your time.

I feel for ya man. I've been through a situation like yours a few years back. Hopefully the email will get some sort of positive action from them. I wish ya the best of luck.

I just got them in today. The emailed sparked a quick response and was shipped the next day. However, the box was severely beat up and I'm scared the HALOs won't work correctly. I'm installing them tomorrow along with my HIDs.

Looking forward to some pics. Did they give you a discount at all? I was looking into these and are curious whether to go with AAC or the ebay specials.

No discount was given which doesn't bother me at all. I just wanted the product I payed for. If you wish to go with AAC, CALL THEM to see if they have your product ready to go.

Yeah, but I already had HIDs installed. If went with those, I'd have to get different HIDs completely....costing more.
