Hey guys i was curious if anyone has put in a single DIN flip out (i am installing a AVIC N1) into my sxt this weekend. What am I to do to the excess space surrounding the unit. You know like the space i will be able to see through where the unit doesnt cover? any ideas? any pictures of installed units would be cool.

Thanks, John

you need to get the mounting bracket from best buy or some other audio store. I installed a AVIC N2 in my charger. The bracket gives you another lil cubby hole right underneth the unit

Yuuup. I saw an SXT with one of those, but he filled that cubby with a fab'd filler that had SXT in chrome lettering in the middle. Looked sharp.

Is this so you can watch a DVD while driving? If so, please share as I have a Jensen 9512 on order.

For anyone looking for the Speed Sense wire in the future, here's the info from Audiovox's Tech Services website that I use to get wiring for remote start/alarm/audio installs...

Though they've been right on 99% of the info I've obtained over the years, I guess I should also post...
