So after a long night of work, I turn into my parking and an old couple in a 95 Saturn decide to run into the front of my Charger. In doing so, I have 2 areas of my vehicle that have scratches on it. Obviously the front of my car is banged up a bit.....it will b fixed soon. But here is where I need help. I have a scratch on the screen of my flip out. Does anyone know what I could do to repair my screen?!?!?! HELP!!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. I'd take it to a car stereo joint and have'em look at it. Chances are it'll have to be replaced. Not the whole unit, of course, just the screen.

I tried to buff out a scratch on my stock display. I used some Meguires wax and protect or something like that. Its designed to remove very fine scratches. It helped remove most of the large scratch but because its such a soft plastic it now is full of very very fine scratches you can only see at the right angle. The entire display is like this so it looks normal but on your system which looks like an LCD screen I not so sure this would be the best route.
If that display has a layered covering it may be an easy replacement.
If you cant just replace the clear cover you may have to replace the entire display which is probably going to cost some $$. :(
A call to the manufacturer may offer some answers.

By the way, Advance Auto sells clear static film for applying stickers in the window without using the sticker adhesive.
I'm going to try some of that on the radio display in hopes of protecting it from further scratches.

That looks more like a crack than a scratch. I think you should try a stereo shop to see if they can suggest anything to fix it, if they don't have to replace the screen.

This is going to sound weird but take it to a cellphone repair shop. Most have a lot of experience replacing small screen. The local one near me repaired a nav system that cracked for a friend and only charged him 50 bucks plus the part.

That looks more like a crack then a scratch from that angle, but I would try a shop that repairs LCD's (laptop or tv) they might be able to help you out.
