I am having the same problem. I had circuit city install a 4 channel amp with a couple of speakers last month. So I decided I wanted some bass so I bought an amp and subs. We have them mounted side by side on the back seat ran with a RCA jumper. The problem is when the car has power everything is fine but when I turn on my car on I have a buzzing sound. Anyone know how to fix that?

you have electronic noise. the only way to fix it on a LX car is to do a complete rewire of the whole system. they have to up grade the rca's to monster cable rca's with the ground wire's on the rca's. they have to be grounded to the back of the head unit and to the amps them self's. OR they can go the ghetto route and use noise filter's on it BUT that lower's the sound quailty of the system. the rca's they put in are passing by a high power wire and they are picking electric whine from the power wires in the car. this is a very commen problem with these cars. the main power wire from the battery is runing down the passinger side of the car and the power wire for the seat and for the lights and the fuel pump are runing down the drivers side of the car. so there no way to run rca lines to the rear of the car with out passing by a hot wire and picking up noise.
