Good evening everyone,
I have recently purchased a 2006 Go Mango Daytona about a week and a half ago. My previous car was a Firebird and had a Pioneer AVIC-N2 with the available iPod connector. My Daytona has the factory navigation but no plug in or aux input, or at least that I cannot find. I bought a FM transmitter but was horrible bad reception. I need to know how I can hook up my iPod to the navi.

Had our GMG for about three weeks now. I installed the Dodge Ipod adapter last week for my wife. It was easy to do and works well. I just sat my laptop om the passenger seat and went to work. Here's what I was looking at.

Peripheral electronics has one for about $120 and works with the steering wheel controls. Check this thread and the questions you might have may have been answered here.

You can type in your zip code in the upper right hand corner for a dealer near you. I found it like that and went down the list calling the shops that came up until I found one that had it. I paid $120 so let me know if I overpaid. I installed it myself its very simple no cutting of wires its all plug and play but read the instructions and do not hook the red wire that has a fuse in-line with it. One thing the guy asked me was for the three little letters on the lower right corner of the head unit because it was only compatible with REC models. Aside from my car cover this is hands down the best accessory I bought for my car. The hardest part is deciding where to put the plug. I looking for a second hand armrest/center consol lid so I can cut into and flush mount it there.

I had the Dodge ipod kit. It worked really well. The installation was a breeze, too. A bit pricey for what it is, but it was much better than the transmitter type.
