Does anyone know if the Harness that goes from the VES to the stock headunit attached to anything? If I were to disconnect the harness from the VES side and the radio can it easily be pulled out or do you have to remove the seat or carpet?

The VES harness runs under the center console up under and behind the center dash/radio. Just a few screws to remove the console, unplug and pull out (gently).

actually the harness runs from the center console up to the left instrument panel . there it plugs into a harness under the left side of the dash that comes on the instrument panel wire harness ( this is for factory ordered VES set-up )

Wait so its installed differently if it already came on the vehicle at the time of pruchase as opposed to buying it after you purchase the vehicle?

Yes , as some cars dont have the plug on the instrument panel from the factory . The dealer installed one goes direct to the radio and just by-pass the one connection on the instrument panel
